Audra is a born and raised Knox County resident where she currently resides in southern Vincennes with her husband, Blake, and their two black labs Trooper and Nova. Audra is a South Knox High School Alumni as well as a Vincennes University Grad with an associates degree in business administration. While attending South Knox and VU Audra interned with Burkhart Insurance where she developed an interest in the industry. She opted to continue her education at Indiana State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management while working part time for the agency. From there she accepted a full-time position at Burkhart Insurance as an account manager in 2020 and presently serves as the Personal Lines Manager for the agency. Audra enjoys the work that she does and takes pride in being a trusted advisor for team members and clients. Outside of work, Audra is an active member of First Baptist church where she’s served on various committees. She also serves as Vice Chair of the South Knox Education Foundation. She enjoys golf, church league softball, volleyball, and CrossFit. The athletic involvement may seem misleading though – Audra does not consider herself a dancer by any means but is going to give it her best shot for the good of the cause! Audra has great respect for the work that the Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse is doing for the members of our community. “Mental health advocacy and support are so important, and I’m honored to play even just a small role in bringing awareness and light to their mission and what they do.”
