Megan was born and raised in Knox County and a graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School's Class of 2003. From there Megan attended Purdue University as a Lily Scholar and graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacology (PharmD) in 2009. She began her career as a pharmacist at Good Samaritan Hospital just 1 week after graduation, working as an inpatient clinical pharmacist for 5 years and transitioned to her current position as an Ambulatory Clinical Care Pharmacist. Megan works in the Coagulation Clinic, Hepatitis C Clinic, and Medication Therapy Management clinic ensuring patients are taking their medications correctly. Megan is the proud wife of Brian Davis and mom to 3 awesome kiddos; Presley (16) an incoming Junior at LHS, Bennett (14) and incoming freshman at LHS, and Grady (12) and incoming 6th grader at CMS. Brian is the assistant basketball coach at Vincennes University (21 years) and she gets to be a pseudo-mom to 15 players from around the world each year. The Davis family also has a kitty, Bootsie, and dog Benjy. Outside of work, Megan enjoys watching her kiddos participate in sports, cheering on her Alma Matre Purdue and VU Basketball, reading, and playing any type of sports outside with her family. Megan has also been involved in many community events, especially with United Way, serving as previous Campaign Chair in 2019. Megan isn't a stranger to the dance floor! She grew up taking dance classes as a kid, danced in the Nutcracker ballet production at Vincennes University, was a 3-year member of Lincoln Singers, and participated in many school musicals. When asked why she wanted to participate, Megan shared "I wholeheartedly support the cause of the Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse. Mental Health is integral to one's overall health and wellness and plays a key role in healing." Megan went on to say, "I want to help advocate for better mental healthcare for all and this gives me a small way to do so. The Clubhouse does so many incredible things and I want to help share those with our community any chance I get. This also gives me a chance to give back to a community that has given so much to me."
